It is just a reminder that we must put no trust whatsoever in our government. They are not trustworthy. When crisis hits - crisis management will kick in -- and the global government the NWO is pushing for will be put in place when the world seeks human solutions to the mess they've made of things.
Now is the time to make sure we have the armor of God firmly in place. When hard times -- maybe even a global depression -- strikes home, we know Whom our Provider is. Perhaps only during such dark times will the Body of Christ be just that to one another. The local pastor will not have all the answers -- in fact, his salary may be cut off when the people no longer have an income from which to tithe. We'll then be forced to look at the model church in the Book of Acts.
"Nor was there anyone among them who lacked;... they distributed to each as anyone had need." --Act 4:34a-35
We're going to have to stick together even more should an economic collapse happen -- and not look to the politicians for assistance. Perhaps that is one reason why we're instructed not to forsake the assembly together even more when we see the Day approach.
Doomsday preppers are teaching people to look out for themselves -- stockpile provisions and defend themselves with their stock of weapons and ammo. That is not God's way. Should disaster strike, it will be easier to see who's who in the professing church. Join those who gather together to help one another.
We may soon see the Body of Christ as it was meant to be.
Maranatha!
"The wicked plots against the just,
And gnashes at him with his teeth.
The Lord laughs at him,
For He sees that his day is coming.
The wicked have drawn the sword
And have bent their bow,
To cast down the poor and needy,
To slay those who are of upright conduct.
Their sword shall enter their own heart,
And their bows shall be broken...
The LORD knows the days of the upright,
And their inheritance shall be forever.
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time,
And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
- Ps. 37:12-15, 18-19
