‘Christian’ Television in Light of Bible Prophecy

“Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.” – Romans 16:17-18

The Apostle Paul says to avoid those who serve themselves, use smooth words, and deceive the hearts of those who are not grounded in God’s word and promote false doctrine and are offensive. They bring division in the church because error divides. Those who do not want to join in with false teachers or who warn others not to support them are labeled by the majority as the divisive ones, but Scripture commands us to note them and avoid them. The division is caused by those who flatter to gain an advantage over others, not the voices of opposition to their pernicious ways.

Any Christian with spiritual eyes to see the signs of the times does not doubt that we are in the final minutes of the Armageddon Clock. The countdown actually began as soon as the Church was birthed. The Apostle John in his second epistle said “it is the final hour” and that was almost 2,000 years ago. In Romans, Paul tells us “that knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we first believed.”

We’re fast approaching the perilous times the apostles said would happen before the rapture of the bride and the judgment of the planet. There are perils increasing on every front: political, social, moral, economical, technological. Wars and rumors of war, earthquakes, famine, pestilence – you name it, we’re seeing it. These birth pangs are increasing and there’s no turning back until they run their course.

But as the church in the last days, we’re in collective denial of the dangers on the spiritual landscape. The ten virgins in the parable of the coming of the Bridegroom were all asleep when He came – reminiscent of how the apostles slept while Jesus sweat blood in the Garden of Gethsemane. Even enthusiasts of eschatology can see clearly the signs of the times all around us, but when it comes to the prophesied condition of Christendom before the Parousia, many cannot connect the dots. Those who do not believe in a Premillennial view of Bible prophecy and deny we’re in the end times, by virtue of their blindness to the fact, are sitting ducks for the deceptions the Bible warns us about regarding these perilous times.

Reality Check

"Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth,
but how is it you do not discern this time?” – Luke 12:56

Therefore, if we believe that we are living in the time of the end, then we have to accept certain prophetic pronouncements and apply them to real life. Many Christians have their own systematic theology and creeds, but don’t make the connection to the world they live in. They pay lip service to their beliefs, but can’t seem to see the world through the prism of Bible prophecy. God gave us His prophetic Word so that the generation who sees all things coming together can be inoculated against deception. So if the Lord’s return is near, then these things must also be a fact:

  • ·         Many false teachers and doers of lying signs and wonders are leading many people astray. [Matt 24:11; Matt 24:24; Mk 13:22; 2Pet 2:1; 1Jn 4:1]
  • ·         A great apostasy of professing Christians is underway in which the object of our faith – the life, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ – has been replaced with a man-centered devotion. [Lk 18:8; 2Thes 2:3; 2Tim 3:1-5; Acts 20:29-31; 1Tim 4:1-2; Rev 3:14-18]
  • ·         Bible-believing Christians are being persecuted by those claiming to be believers. [2Pet 3:3; Jn 16:2]
  • ·         A false church is being built that is in spiritual adultery to Almighty God and is therefore branded by God as the Great Whore. [Rev 17; Rev 19:2]
  • ·         Believers who aid and abet the false teachers are displeasing to God and in disobedience to His Word. [Rev 18:4; Eph 5:11; Rom 16:17; 2Thes 2:9-12; 1Cor 5:11-13; Gal 5:9; Rom 11:21]
  • ·         The forerunner to the antichrist is at work, preparing the minds of the people to condition them to be in awe of him when he arrives on the scene.
The Bible tells us as Christians that we are not to be ignorant of the devil’s schemes. By studying eschatology we can see the end result of the god of this world’s agenda against the professing church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Just read the 7th chapter of the book of Revelation for a sneak preview of the devil’s vision of a mutant bride. To accomplish his agenda he first has to eradicate any clear witness of the true church. He has done a pretty thorough job of that by replacing faith in the Triune God of the Bible with a false faith in a god of forces or universal laws (Daniel 11:38).

The very foundation of the most prominent “Christian” television networks was built on the belief that believers can operate spiritual principles to create their own reality. God is not supreme on the earth, but according to the word/faith adherents, He has turned all power and authority of the earth over to them. God can do nothing without their permission. As they operate their force of faith, the power of the force itself kicks into action on their behalf. So many books have been written about the occult idea of the law of attraction as promoted by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Deepak Chopra, and all the mind-science cults, that there is no need to go over that again and again.

The seed-faith principle made popular by faith healer Oral Roberts is the seedbed utilized by these networks to raise money at their raise-a-thons. This idea of give-to-get has made the network owners rich and pushed many already financially stricken viewers further into debt and poverty. Thanks to the work of discernment ministries and the use of the Internet, the more educated Christians are finally catching on to the scam and holding back their support of this wholesale fraud upon the church. But sadly, the less educated, who are lured by the message that if they give to the networks they will reap a hundred-fold return, are still sending in their pledges, hoping the god of forces will be forced to operate on their behalf.

The prosperity deception is widely taught by TV preachers out of sheer necessity to keep the money rolling in since overhead is high in the satellite-television business.  They adopted the god of forces who can be controlled by the words of their mouth and what they decree since that puts the power to prosper into their own hands. No need to wait for a yes or no answer from the Sovereign Creator of the Universe. He might not see things their way and His will might conflict with their own.

There’s power in numbers – both people and dollar signs. “Christian” broadcasters must therefore attract the widest audience possible in order to stay in business. This need plays right into the vision of the antichrist to eradicate the true Gospel and replace it with a man-centered, world-loving, power-hungry faith that believes it can change the world through unity. Oral Roberts used to host an annual ecumenical gathering in Tulsa with the banner over the platform that read, “Love and Unity Through Signs and Wonders.”

Paul Crouch Sr. has been a major player in unifying the professing church while playing his numbers game needed for expansion. From the start TBN has featured various Catholic priests both on their Praise the Lord program and in their line-up of broadcasting clients.  He has slammed the Protestant Reformation as a tool of Satan and proudly proclaimed, “I’m not protesting anything.” Those in disagreement, he labeled Pharisees. He even hosted the late Pope John Paul II’s visit to America, carrying the Catholic youth rallies live on TBN.

While the management of most “Christian” networks are word/faith heretics, their quest for unity of the professing church, both true and false, is a major money-raising success strategy they all use. They might not realize they are playing into the hands of Satan and the spirit of antichrist to blur the lines between the holy and the profane. However, the spirit of antichrist must bring apostasy to the church in advance of forming the Great Harlot.

For this reason, all the apostate networks welcome the involvement of sound doctrinal teachers, just so long as they don’t point out the condition of their fellow broadcasters or use their network to teach the distinction between true and false teaching seen on TV.

The Crouches and the Lambs and the Alecs see sound teachers as useful idiots who give the rest credibility. And the so-called solid ministries think they can be lights in a dark place by proclaiming truth where only error has been promoted. But by doing so they lead the many astray and do more harm than good. Here’s a verse that applies to this sin they are committing against those who trust them:

“For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple,
will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat
 those things offered to idols?
And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish,
for whom Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethren,
and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.”
- 1 Corinthians 8:10-12

The end certainly does not justify the means. They are playing right into the hands of the spirit of antichrist when there is no line of demarcation between the true Bride and the Bride of Frankenstein these networks are producing.

In these last days battle lines are being drawn. The separation of the sheep and goats is being seen. It’s time for every believer to take a stand against the encroaching evil and be faithful to the end. Those who compromise with evil will end up being defeated by the very evil they wink at. Those who buy airtime from so-called brothers and yoke themselves unevenly with them will be held to account for all the baby believers they feed to the wolves in sheep’s clothing.

The mixture is creating a mutant church that is powerless to preach an untainted Gospel. It is looking more like the Laodicean luke-warm so-called church that Jesus promises to spew out of His mouth. Those who don’t separate from it now, will not be able to do so when Jesus comes for His faithful Bride. The word-faith leaven is leavening the entire lump with the assistance of well-meaning compromisers.

“Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump,
just as you are in fact unleavened.
For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.”
1 Corinthians 5:7

Brittany Koper Interview - Part 2

Brittany Crouch-Koper Interview - PART  2
with Jackie Alnor, host of Rapture Ready Radio’s ‘Apostasy Alert’
– June 7, 2012

[Brittany Crouch-Koper is the daughter of Paul Crouch Jr. She is the former Chief Financial Officer of TBN who is embroiled in several lawsuits with her grandparents, Paul and Jan Crouch. The one-hour interview transcript will be in two to three parts due to its length. {For background information, see the Orange County Register’s blog on the scandal at:

]

J: Do you know that Jan on Behind-the-Scenes, it was either May 17th or 18th, Jan said that her and Paul are the shadow of what Mary and Joseph were, in giving a gift to the world?

B: Wow!

J: It strikes me, considering their moral failures to compare themselves to two people who had the reputation of the highest moral quality.

B: They’re very narcissistic people obviously. Again, they live in their own reality; they make up their own rules; and clearly in the last thirty years not even the law applies to them. So why wouldn’t they make that comparison? There’s nobody there [TBN] that’s been able to or willing to hold them accountable to any sort of standards, guidelines for anything they do. So it certainly doesn’t surprise me that she would make a statement like that.

J: How does Jan respond to people who do make fun of her for her crazy wigs and her eyelashes and the way she dresses?

B: They’re all evil; they’re all of the devil; and whatever.

J: She doesn’t see something wrong? She doesn’t look in the mirror and say, ‘eesh, this isn’t a good representation’

B: I asked that one time. I was having a conversation with my dad. I said, ‘Dad, what’s the deal? Really, it takes her two hours to get dressed. Why does she look like that?’

And my dad said something like, ‘I really don’t know.’ And he said, ‘it’s been like a progression.’ He said, ‘If she would have walked in looking the way she does now fifteen years ago, we all would have said gosh what happened?’ But it was kind of a slow progression into what it is now.

People will always go, ‘oh your grandmother looks like Tammy Faye. Tammy Faye? Tammy Faye looks normal to me. I mean she wore eyeliner and eyelashes but how do you even compare the two?

J: And isn’t she responsible for the horrible decorations of the Bear Avenue place in particularly looks like a cheap French brothel. I mean, how do people walk through there with a straight face? I guess, it’s hard for me to fathom.

B: Um, I don’t know. It’s kind of like stepping into an altered universe. I mean you kinda go there to be entertained and to see everything and then it’s like let’s get back to reality again and move on with our lives. But it’s for show and it is what it is I guess.

J: What kind of normal childhood and upbringing could you have had being so close to it? What was that like?

B: You know, I actually had a very wonderful childhood. I grew up in Irvine, California which was voted the number one place to raise children in the world by some magazine. But it was an upper-class community and I went to public school and I played all kinds of sports and activities and my mom stayed home and my dad worked. My dad wasn’t involved with TBN until I was about 15-years-old I think. So I really wasn’t around that other than shooting the Christmas specials once a year. Being a kid, you don’t really know any better, so you just…

J: Didn’t Brandon[B’s older brother] have his own show?

B: Yes, he hosted a few shows for the JCTV network. My brother is actually working for a church in Santa Monica right now. As part of the retaliation against me, they fired him. He and his wife went to Santa Monica and they’re actually doing great. He’s working for a church up there and helping my dad at the Word Network.

J: What was the timing of when they let him go?

B: Right like around the same time they let my dad go, probably in October, 2011.

J: How did he feel?

B: Everybody was just very confused about everything. And he’s hurt. He’s hurt because at the end of the day, these people are your grandmother and your uncle and your grandfather and for some reason they won’t speak to him. And he’s like going, ‘What? I don’t understand.’ And none of us really understand, to be honest. It’s really sad. There’s no reason for it.  We’ve been blessed with good health and time and it’s definitely time that could be spent together as a family and for some reason that’s not happening.

J: What about this Jesus character at the Holyland Experience? I saw them on Behind the Scenes – I watch the show, like I said, you don’t – and she was doing this whole tour behind the scenes arm-in-arm with this guy, like snuggling with him through this whole thing. It was like shocking how indiscreet it was. Do you have any insight into that?

B: Oh, absolutely. Yeah, it was very bizarre to me because when I went over to visit my grandmother in Orlando, he was always around. And they would hold hands and walk together and I witnessed them snuggling, exchanging kisses, and I’m like going, ‘What? What in the world?’ And I asked her about it. I said, “Grandma, what are you doing?” And she said, “oh, I kiss everybody on the lips.” And I said, “What?” And she said, “yeah, I kiss everybody on the lips. It’s not a big deal. It doesn’t mean anything.” And it’s like, I don’t know, it made me very very uncomfortable. I can say that.

J: What’s his name?

B: His name is Les [Cheveldayoff]. And it’s very sad. He’s got a beautiful wife and three beautiful children. And here he is clearly having an inappropriate relationship with my grandmother. He doesn’t leave her side. When she travels somewhere, she takes Les with her.

J: Where are his wife and children at?

B: In Orlando. They live in Orlando.

J: So he’s not living – someone had suggested that he might be living in that second parsonage in Orlando, next door to hers.

B: No, no. The second parsonage, her – I guess you could call them her bodyguards – live in the second parsonage.

J: Is it really elaborate, her parsonage that she lives in?

B: Absolutely.  I think she’s repainted it three different times until she got it just the way she wanted it, you know, remodeling it. It has a pool table. She’ll invite a lot of HLE employees to parties. It’s got a pool in the backyard. It’s on a beautiful lake. In fact when she bought it, one of the things she told me, she goes, ‘Oh yeah, Tiger Woods lives around here. Beautiful homes.

J: How many homes do they have?

B: The ones – TBN owns homes all over the place, but the ones that she mainly uses are the one in Orlando, and there’s a mansion in Newport Beach that’s designated has hers, I guess.

J: What about in other countries?

B: TBN does own one villa in Rome that I’m aware of. But other than that they don’t really travel much overseas very often anymore.  My uncle Matt is usually the one to go on the world-wide trips with his wife and kids.

J: There was talk in the exhibits about the spending that Laurie Crouch – I guess she is one that spends a lot of money and then writes things off. And then I understand that they don’t pay sales tax because they show themselves as non-profit with things that they buy. Do you know anything about that?

B: Well, I can’t talk specifically on certain things, but yeah, TBN is registered non-profit in various states and their affiliate companies and so there are certain items that they will purchase and not pay sales tax on.

J: I know from hearing from Kelly Whitmore that she was saying that it was part of her job, at least in Dallas or Irving, Texas, to keep both condos, Jan had one and Paul had one, to keep the bars stocked with alcohol. It seems like they’re very much into drinking. And even she testified that your grandmother grew her own marijuana plants and that she would see remains of joints around her house when she was straightening up for her. Have you ever known that about your grandmother, that she not only smokes pot, but cigarettes?

B: It certainly wouldn’t surprise me, but now in her older years I haven’t witnessed her smoking. She told me she used to smoke in college. I knew when the law came up in California about the marijuana being legalized, I asked her what she thought of it and she said, ’I don’t care if they legalize it.’

But yes, both my grandparents drink alcohol on a regular basis. My grandfather, unfortunately, has a horrible addiction to alcohol that has really deteriorated his brain. He is just not the person he used to be. He definitely has difficulty remembering things on an hour to hour basis, let alone a day to day basis.

You know, your job there at the company, it’s very difficult when he tells you to do something and then the next day he says,’ why the heck did you do this?’ And then you kind of go, ‘well wait a minute, you told me to.’ And he says, ‘I did not!’ – Oh my gosh.

J: Do you believe the stories that your grandfather is a homosexual?

B: I don’t know. I have no idea. I really haven’t witnessed any behavior that would indicate that, like I have with my grandmother and Les, you know, kissing right in front of me. But to be honest, I really love my grandfather; and I really miss him a lot. I think that he’s been so manipulated by my grandmother that – you know, he’s not mentally sharp and so he’s easily controlled by her, he’s easily manipulated into believing things that aren’t necessarily true. And regardless of any personal downfalls he may have or things that he’s personally struggling with in his life, I really miss him. I always felt I had a special connection with him and I really love him a lot. And I hope that someday to at least have a relationship with him as a granddaughter because he’s pretty funny. He tells some really funny stories. I think that’s definitely what I miss the most about being in California.

J: Well that must be hard because that is your family and that’s just a shame. Do you hold out much hope that they would ever just come clean on everything?

B: Yeah I have hope and that’s kind of my motivation for doing this. I love the ministry at TBN and the people are going, ‘oh she’s trying to destroy TBN.’ No, I’m not! I was trying to make it better and trying to have it do the right things and follow the laws and be accountable. I hope to someday accomplish that. Nothing would make me happier than to see TBN in the hands of somebody who would run it properly and do right by the employees and really make it a wonderful thing, bringing hope and inspiration instead of the prosperity gospel. Hopefully, God willing, that will happen someday.

TO BE CONTINUED. . .

[Note: On Thursday, August 2, 2012, the Jesus character, Les Cheveldayoff, made an appearance on TBN’s Praise the Lord program, hosted by Phil Munsey, for an apparent public relations Hallmark moment, as cameras panned on his wife and three daughters sitting in the front row. Greg Laurie was the other guest that evening celebrating his extended relationship with TBN. His family didn’t look all that happy to be there.]

June 8, 15, 2012 Show - Brittany Koper Interview

Brittany Crouch-Koper Interview - PART 1
with Jackie Alnor, host of Rapture Ready Radio’s ‘Apostasy Alert’
– June 7, 2012

[Brittany Crouch-Koper is the daughter of Paul Crouch Jr. She is the former Chief Financial Officer of TBN who is embroiled in several lawsuits with her grandparents, Paul and Jan Crouch. The one-hour interview transcript will be in two to three parts due to its length. {For background information, see the Orange County Register’s blog on the scandal at:

J: Hi Brittany, thank you for agreeing to be interviewed.

B: TBN, they’re going in for another restraining order today and tomorrow in two different cases.

J: How can they block your right to free speech?

B: They’re saying that I am violating – when I was an employee there, I signed a confidentiality agreement that basically said I wouldn’t disclose any trade secrets of the company. So they’re trying to expand it to mean, you know, my whole life. And they have millions of dollars or more and so they’re going to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in attorney fees to try and keep me quiet and issue restraining orders and drag my attorney into court every other day. They have gotten a very limited restraining order in a previous case trying to seal a declaration that I had filed, which they were able to do temporarily. Yesterday, the judge ruled that – like they had no standing and so he said that the documents would be made public and took away the original restraining order. And of course TBN freaked out and took me to two other judges in two different courts and are re-filing for the same restraining order. So it’s another day in the life.

J: I have heard so many times that people that have crossed TBN, that they have been threatened or felt fearful for their safety. Do you feel that way?

B. Yes. I have to tell you that it has crossed my mind. And I have been warned. Various people have reached out to me who have been down that road and said, “Be careful, you know, I had my brakes cut.” So, it’s something I’m aware of. Am I fearful? No. But I know it’s a very strong possibility and it wouldn’t surprise me if they sent assassins. They already have a private detective following me around.

It’s very surreal for me. This whole situation; it’s very surreal and it’s just one of those things that you just have to take one day at a time. And it’s definitely one of those character building moments that your parents tell you about when you’re a kid where you just go, oooh when will this end?
But I’m very encouraged; I’m very inspired by the people who have reached out to me and encouraged me in different ways. And it just fortifies my belief that I’m doing the right thing. This is the right thing to do. And that’s why I’m able to continue doing it despite the rash of lawsuits, and all these flying accusations and every day being a sparring match with my family. Yeah, it’s a long road but I’m definitely in it for the long haul. I’m certainly not doing this to try to “get a big payday” like everybody’s saying, “she just wants a big payday.” No. Believe me. There are easier things in life to do in order to earn a living.

I’m really doing this because I think the world needs to know. I really feel convicted to tell the truth and to stand up for what’s right. TBN has bullied so many people for over the past three years and they’ve gotten away with it because they’re scary people. They’re terrifying and they have endless funds to continue their reign of terror and they’ve been able to intimidate people and scare them into keeping quiet and spend money on attorneys in able to keep their mouths shut. Unfortunately for them, I’m not easily intimidated and that’s not gonna happen.

J: Who do you see as the one calling the shots to be intimidating to people of your relatives?

B: Oh gosh! Well right now, I really see it as my Uncle Matt. He’s a very vengeful person and this is personal to him. I “blew the whistle” on many of the illegal things that were happening in regards to his income like, for example, his income was not reported on their 990s and that was one of the things I was bringing up and what’s going on here – the hundreds of thousands of dollars of payments to his for-profit company which were not properly recorded on TBN’s 990s as we were required to do so. He has it out for me. This is a personal vendetta that he is waging against me. He and my grandmother have a very interesting relationship;  a very close relationship. She’s supporting him and there you have it. There’s two members of the Board of Directors of the three – the majority of the Board.

I also feel like it’s TBN’s general counsel, John Casoria. He’s calling a lot of the shots. He’s general counsel. If TBN were doing something that were not in the best interest of TBN, it’s his job to speak up and say otherwise. And he’s not. He’s continuing down this road and the further they go, you know, the more they’re going to be exposed. And that’s fine with me because that’s what I’m trying to do anyway.

J: With John Casoria (Jan Crouch's nephew) – what’s the difference between his position and Colby May?

B: John Casoria is the in-house counsel. His office is there in Tustin and Colby May is TBN’s “FCC attorney,” so he makes sure that their licenses are renewed and they file for copyrights. But Colby May was never involved in the day-to-day activities of TBN like John was.

J: But he’s very vocal against you.

B: He is. And you know for some reason I don’t know why. They’ve made him the mouthpiece, for lack of a better word. I’m not sure why. That’s just the way they chose to do it. That’s fine with me. I think it’s because John is so close to a lot of the allegations, that maybe they would look better if they had somebody that wasn’t so involved to take care of public announcements.

J: And how is your father dealing with all of this?

B: He’s doing okay. You know obviously, he’s torn. It’s hard for him. He doesn’t deal with conflict very well. But he supports me. He loves me. I talk with him, probably once a week, and just say, “hey dad, how’s it going?” And talk about the weather and whatever.

J: Is his relationship still good with his parents?

B: No. My grandparents have not spoken to me or really anybody in my family since October. It’s very odd. It’s like I’m dead to them. At first it was very hurtful because I was very close to my grandmother, especially when I was in high school and college. And for some reason, she just totally cut me out of her life. And I’ve reached out to her; I’ve called her. We used to exchange text messages all the time, “I love you grandma.” Thanksgiving was definitely very very hard for me; a very emotional day. It’s because it was the first Thanksgiving where I haven’t had my grandmother’s stuffing and just silly stuff like that. It was devastating really. And then Christmas came and went and I was the only person in my family my grandmother didn’t get – she bought everybody personalized bibles – they’re actually very beautiful. But she bought everybody in my family a personalized Bible for Christmas, but I didn’t get one.

And I sent her a text message on Christmas Day and I said, “I love you so much grandma no matter much. Thank you so much for teaching me about Jesus.” And I haven’t received any reply. So I stopped trying. I figured she would contact me when and if she was ever ready. My birthday came and went and I didn’t hear anything. The first year in 27 years I didn’t receive balloons on my birthday from my grandma.

J: How devastating that is. I just can’t imagine how you dad, who seemed to be running TBN, at least it appeared the way he always handled Behind-the-Scenes and all of that, how he must be feeling because it looks like he’s cut out of his inheritance.

B: Honestly, he’s fine. He’s rebounded. He’s on his feet. He’s very excited about the opportunities he has in front of him. He called me and said, “I’m happier now than I ever have been.” The gentleman he’s working for is the nicest guy he’s ever met in his life and he has more free time to spend with my sister and do the things that he really enjoys. And he actually says his life is better now than when I was there.

J: I saw that picture with you and Melissa Scott, referring to her as “Mommy Melissa.” Is there a reason for that?

B: Ya know, not really. She’s a wonderful person. She’s very kind; she treats us very wonderful and we really like her a lot. She makes my dad happy and that’s what I’m concerned about. As long as my dad’s happy, then we’re happy.

J: Are there any marriage plans?

B: Not as far as I’m aware of. She’s pretty funny. She’s got a wonderful sense of humor. And I think I just did it as a joke. I don’t even know.

J: I was just wondering because she was very recognizable. I used to go to Faith Center when her late husband [Gene Scott] was alive. That was one of my first churches in the 1980s when I got saved. Have you seen the Behind-the-Scenes with the way that they’ve been behaving in the past month of so with Jan and Paul being all kissy-face and all of that. Have you been watching any of that?

B: No, I have not. I try not to turn on TBN to be honest. It’s very hurtful right now to see my family…

J: Can you confirm that Jan and Paul haven’t been together as a married couple in quite some time?

B: I know ever since I was a little girl they never lived together. So what goes on behind closed doors, I can’t really testify to; I was never around that. But I do know it’s always been Grandma had her house and Papa had his house and that’s the way it was. And I never really asked questions; that’s just the way it always has been.

J: It just seems so odd for them to act all lovey-dovey chummy which they have not done, because I do watch them. I monitor it a lot. And so I saw this dramatic change. But what bothered me, and I played it on my radio show a couple of weeks ago was a clip in which Jan says if any devil comes against TBN, I don’t care who he uses to come against TBN, we will fight him with every inch of my breath – or whatever- despite the consequences. And she said that twice, despite the consequences, whatever the consequences. And I just thought to myself, do they think of you as a consequence?

B: I don’t know. I don’t know what they think; I really don’t know what’s going through their minds right now. I just know that I feel like I’m doing the right thing. This is the right thing to do. They’ve been getting away with a lot of things that need to be exposed that are not only illegal, but also unconscionable. And enough is enough! Where does it end? So, you know, if they want to continue to make threats against me, that’s their prerogative. I love them no matter what. I always will. If I saw my grandma tomorrow, I’d go up to her and hug her and tell her how much I love her and I’ve missed her. I really hold no grudges, but at the same time I’m not going to give in to something that in my mind is an injustice.

J: Can you confirm that Matthew Crouch is not Paul Crouch’s biological offspring?

B: Um, I haven’t seen paternity test results or anything like that, but I do know – I can say that I’ve had conversations with my grandmother on more than one occasion, when we were out together or having dinner together…she basically, she’s admitted to me and to others more than once that Matthew is a product of an affair that she had with Mr. America 1954. His name was Dick Dubois.

J: Do you think that is why she is more partial to Matthew because of his paternity?

B: Absolutely. Absolutely. Yes, I think Matthew is, from what she’s told me, is he’s her love-child. And that is why he’s been able to get away with so much – so much of this cutting corners and contracts with million dollar movies. There’s no way they would have agreed to do this with my dad’s production company. He had a production company for a long time that did not do any work for TBN. And she’s protecting her “love-child.”

J: Do you think that Paul Sr. knows about this?

B: No. Absolutely not.

J: You don’t think he knows that’s not his true son?

B: I don’t think – If he does, he’s in denial about it. My grandparents, they live in their own reality. They kind of make up their own rules of what they want to believe. And so if he was made aware of it at some point, he has completely blocked it out.

To be continued....

Review of Chuck Missler at the Red River Prophecy Conference by Pastor Glenn A. Knudson

[I am sharing these observations of Chuck Missler's recent talk because I caught part of it as it as streamed and this pastor put it better than I could since science is not my strength. I agree with him that Missler's teachings are NOT biblical and that Missler has himself crossed the line into fables and science so-called.- Jackie]

Review of Chuck Missler at the Red River Prophecy Conference
by Pastor Glenn A. Knudson

I have been able to listen to all of the first talk by Chuck Missler, Macrocosm, and most of the second talk, Microcosm (which he also added Metacosm at the end). He taught exactly what I thought he would teach and why I did not want our fellowship to support the conference because of him.

Macrocosm-
1. He started the talk with the "erroneous" preconceptions we have "Especially in the area of science"
     a. we have misconceptions about science
     b. we have misconceptions about reality

He defined macrocosm as all things larger than ourselves and that it is "the limits to largeness" and "our finite boundaries"

Einstein was the first to give us the concept of time as the fourth dimension and that there is no distinction between time and space.

He then introduced his concept of a ten dimensional universe where Einstein had stopped at four but "knew" there were more (He expands the teaching on ten dimensions in his Micro/Metacosm talk).

He then mentions the states in which matter can be found solid, liquid, gas and super gas (or plasma) He makes a statement that you need to listen to the words he uses "that as a plasma gases function as a unified "organism" (I always was taught organisms are living things and the Bible is specific in its definitions of life and the that man is unique from plant and animal life and that gases have no life).

He then makes a statement I believed is to diffuse anyone who would dare speak against what he is teaching, "The only barrier to truth is the presupposition you already have it." (How could I as a non-scientist question Chuck's findings and say I am because I view the Word of God as my final authority for truth that if what he "finds" does not align with God's Word it must be non-truth or by definition a lie).

He then makes another statement that he bases a lot of his teaching on " where metaphors reign, mysteries begin" The only problem is Chuck is enamored with what I view as "occultic and gnostic" mysteries and the Word of God tells us the Lord has revealed what we are to know and concealed what we are not. It appears Chuck wants to peel back the what God has concealed using what Paul referred to in his letter to Timothy as "science so called" based on supposition, speculation, mysticism, and the word of mystics.

He then talked about the fractured universe. He stated because of sin and that the six upper dimensions have been fractured from the four lower dimensions. He then described the universe as being a digital universe (this prepares you for the next talk where he will reveal that "everything" is really a digital simulation in the form of a hologram. (This is disturbing because he has just laid the ground work for agreeing with the eastern mystics who have told us for centuries that everything is an illusion and that like a hologram, all things are one and even though you think you separate things you never can because everything is one. God's Word does not state all things are one and it is not what I think or perceive that determines reality, but the transcendent God who created and established all things. Does Chuck Missler understand where the logic of this teaching leads? That is calls us to pantheism and that we are one with God. The atonement becomes the AT-ONE-MENT and reality and the authority of God has effectively been destroyed)

Chuck then closed by leaving everyone with the teaser for his next session of New Spirituality indoctrination by stating that we cannot find infinity and this has been discovered by two things:
     1. We have found the outer boundaries of the universe so it has boundaries above
     2. We have discovered something at the sub-atomic particle level using quantum physics that there comes a point where all things lose locality and become "unified" in location and communication. As above so below (my words) but we now have discovered the "boundaries" to our reality.

Microcosm/Metacosm-

Chuck starts his talk by stating it is really about "REAL" science vs. bad science. Although in typical Chuck Missler fashion he never gives definition to terms, you are left to conclude that "REAL" science is his version and interpretation and bad science would be science done by groups such as ICR where Dr. John Morris on Science, Scripture & Salvation recently stated there are those that in the name of science are proclaiming that our universe consists of ten dimensions, but this is based not on good science but on gnostic and mystic teachings. (Some of Chuck's main sources and conclusions on this topic are based upon mystic 13th century Jewish Rabbis and Hindu Mystic Dr. David Bohm. I think Chuck really should begin to examine good and bad science in light of the reality of that which we know is true, the Word of God.)

Chuck Missler then makes a sweeping statement which in my opinion does two things:
     1. Enables him to divorce himself from the authority of scripture when it comes to interpretations of quantum physics
     2. Allows him to draw conclusions with absolutely NO empirical evidence to back him up.

He states there are "NO ABSOLUTES" at the sub-atomic or quanta level and that we no longer can have the perceptions we once had as "nothing is real" HE HAS JUST DESTROYED GOD!!!! He then recreates God by stating that at the sub-atomic particle level all things are connected, not merely in locality but in communication. He states it is hard for us to conceive but you can take two quarks and separate them by the expanse of the universe and yet they will communicate with one another. God has just been redefined and all of his creation has become one with the creator BUT NOT THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST!!

He then began his trail of "experts" that allowed him to arrive at these conclusions. It begins with a 13th century Jewish rabbi named Nachmonides who determined from studying Genesis that there are ten dimensions. (What Chuck failed to mention in this talk, but what he has revealed elsewhere and information that you can discover on your own, that Nachmanides was a kabbalic mystic Jew who looked far outside the Word of God to interpret the Word of God. This is the foundation that he lays for his version of quantum physics, boundaries of reality and interpretation of our existence. He spent time on building the concept of particle-anti-particle and it was here I was interrupted and had to leave for about 1/2 hour.

When I came back he had just started on "Metacosm"

He introduced this portion of the talk by stating" We really are a "virtual simulated" digital environment and to discuss our existence is the whole concept of the metacosm. He stated we are a "Hyper-dimensional" universe that manifests itself in the form of hologram. He then introduces Dr. David Bohm as the originator of the understanding that we live in a holographic universe. He  stated that God is the creator of this holographic universe. He then proceeds to exaggerate and make sweeping statements that are not backed up by any empirical science. He will say things like " Both astrophysicists and the quantum physicists now tell us..." (He leads you to believe the majority is in agreement with his position when in fact many do not hold Dave Bohm and his holographic universe in the same regard as Chuck Missler does.)

Chuck Missler teaches the six dimensions outside our experience are "curled." (How do we know this or empirically prove it outside of mathematical theory?) It was then taught that our universe is but a shadow of the larger reality (no Biblical context or scientific empirical discovery just a sweeping statement of set the stage. Chuck shared that there are "hints" in Paul's Epistle to the Romans, that lead him to suspect the original creation was "fractured" as a result of the curse in Genesis 3." He has a great ability to introduce a topic as a concept and by three or four sentences later what was a concept or theory has now become a fact!!

He concluded his talk with the David Bohm's concepts that (1) at the sub-atomic particle level location as we know it ceases to exist
and (2) all is an illusion, specifically in the form of a hologram.

Chuck states that we live in a 3D virtual world that manifests itself as a hologram (thus by definition of a hologram you can see in one particle what is the whole -so you can see by extension of logical outcome of this thought, that you find all of God in the smallest quark or in the universe itself. God is all so all is in God.)

He then talked about the dilemma of our reality which is our blindness . This will ultimately result in the secret of God's judgment. (Why the esoteric way of always presenting the state of man- why not just say what the Bible says).

I see that all Chuck's dancing with the mystics and stating that this is the "REAL SCIENCE" lays groundwork for his view of angels, UFO's, time travel, and ability to communicate across time etc, etc. which God warns us LEAVE ALONE and DO NOT BECOME INVOLVED WITH.

At the close the chairman of the committee thanked Chuck for coming and then said we all need to be Bereans and examine the things Chuck said in light of scripture but then stated that it is said that there are those who because of fear, of judgment, and a lack of understanding and preconceived ideas have chosen to not support Chuck. In other words, if you do what he told you to and examine what Chuck taught in light of scripture and found it lacking, you better not say anything for if you do, you are a judgmental, closed minded, fearful person who is unwilling to discover the boundaries of our reality.

DISTURBING, DISTURBING, DISTURBING.

What is Chuck's purpose in exaggeration, twisting of what is good and bad science and laying an eastern mystic view of reality? As those in the audience had their eyes glossing over with physics 101, they were having their perception of God and His Word torn, destroyed and replaced with an eastern mystic one.

Let me know if you think I am fearful, closed minded and judgmental because I am really concerned about the GLORY of GOD and the upholding of HIS WORD.

Unheeded Warning to Paul Crouch back in 1987

The late Bible-Answer-Man, Walter Martin wrote to warn Paul Crouch of heresies coming from Kenneth Copeland back in 1987 - all to no avail. The body of Christ did not heed Martin's and other watchmen's warnings, such as Dave Hunt, or lesser voices such as mine writing for The Christian Sentinel or New Age Alert - and so today TBN is error upon error magnified. Now I don't think anyone can stop the avalanche of apostasy - the Great Apostasy is in full swing. If your church is a part of this, the LORD may be telling you to "come out from among her My people."

February 10, 2012 Show - Paul Crouch’s Granddaughter Exposes Corruption at TBN

Brittany Crouch Koper
Trinity Broadcasting Network’s president and founder Paul Crouch Sr.’s policy of putting family members in positions of power at the largest “Christian” TV network in the world may have come back to bite him. His granddaughter, Brittany Crouch Koper, who served as TBN’s chief financial officer, is accusing TBN “of unlawfully distributing charitable assets worth more than $50 million to the company’s directors.”

Koper filed a federal lawsuit against two TBN lawyers, Douglass S. Davert and David C. Loe, who reportedly instructed her to “shut up” about what she discovered in her position as financial officer. The complaint says that the lawyers intimidated Ms. Koper into returning her own perks which included her house, car, jewelry, life insurance and home furnishings. Failure to do so would result in jail time for her, the attorneys allegedly threatened. According to Koper, a false lawsuit had been filed against her and her husband Michael, also a TBN employee, charging them with misappropriation of funds, in October, 2011, in an attempt to stop her whistle blowing. That case was closed by the plaintiffs after she complied with the demands.

Coincidentally, that same month Koper’s father, Paul Crouch Jr, resigned his position from TBN as Chief of Staff, to “pursue other ministry opportunities.” His hasty retreat baffled many people. Why would he leave TBN as second in command next to hid dad to take a position at a small minority-owned network?

“Observers have often wondered how the Crouches can afford multiple mansions on both coasts, a $50 million jet and chauffeurs,” said Koper’s attorney, Tymothy MacLeod to the Orange County Register who broke the story of Koper’s lawsuit on February 9, 2012. That same day, Paul Crouch Sr. and his younger son Matthew Crouch made veiled threats at anyone who would try to come against TBN.

“There have been a few attempts in the TBN history to upset TBN, to stop TBN,” said Matt Crouch to his father on Behind the Scenes. “You know, there have been a few fools in the 39-year history...and you know what - any attempt at stopping TBN -- they have no idea who they’re actually pushing into the corner. You and mom get pushed in a corner - God help you. That’s a lesson I’ve learned from you, seriously.”

“God help anyone who would try to get in the way of TBN, which was God’s plan,” Paul Crouch responded. “I have attended the funeral of at least two people who tried.”

That threat should be taken seriously when you consider Brittany Koper’s allegations in her complaint that her Uncle Matthew brandished a firearm to threaten her.

Matthew Crouch “began tapping the firearm he had brought to the meeting and asked Ms. Koper what she thought would happen when she wrote a memo to the board critical of Matthew Crouch’s financial improprieties. Matthew Crouch continued tapping the gun he was holding to ensure that Ms. Koper recognized the lethal threat being made.”

Several years ago, someone who was suing TBN for plagiarism told this reporter that after filing suit against them, her brake lines were cut on her car and she was being tailed wherever she went. If these allegations are true, then TBN cannot point the finger at God for their protection. They seem to be taking matters into their own hands.

Lewdness at TBN

Another strange twist to this story is the accusation that defendant David Loe sexually harassed Koper on more than one occasion when she was working with him. The complaint says,

“Defendant Loe touched Ms. Koper in an overtly sexual manner repeatedly, told Ms. Koper that he was sexually aroused, made lewd and derogatory comments about engaging in sexual acts with Ms. Koper, and offered illegal drugs to Ms. Koper, who was defendant Loe’s client in that matter and others. In a business meeting, Mr. Loe made repeated remarks about Ms. Koper’s breast enhancement surgery, reached across the table in front of witnesses, and grabbed Ms. Koper’s breasts to (as Mr. Loe put it) ‘see if they feel real.’ After Ms. Koper repeatedly refused defendant Loe’s sexual advances, defendant Loe became cruel, vindictive, and malicious toward Ms. Koper.”

The Register reported “ that Koper is readying documentation regarding her charges and will submit a package to the Internal Revenue Service for its review.” Time will tell if Koper will follow up on this brave act or succumb to the intimidation that, she says in her complaint, has made her physically ill with “loss of appetite, physical weakness, nausea, headaches, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, stomach and digestive problems, malnutrition, hair loss, severe insomnia, and suicidal thoughts requiring counseling and medication.”

This is not the first time TBN has been rocked with scandal. In 2004, Paul Crouch Sr. settled out of court, paying out nearly half a million dollars, to keep another former employee quiet regarding an alleged 1996 homosexual fling between the two of them.

The Koper case has the potential of bringing even more disgrace, not only to TBN, but to the name of Christianity in the eyes of the onlooking world. It makes the PTL scandal look like a Sunday School picnic.

Brittany Koper could not be reached for comment and the defendants did not return messages left at their law offices.
